West (Back) Gardens

Petite gardens carve life into the parking lot to the back of the Shotgun House. Hummingbird Sage now matches the height of the parking meters!

Alongside the magenta wands of Hummingbird Sage (Salvia spathacea), Golden Currant (Ribes aureum) and Bladderpod (Isomeris arborea)collaborate to cover the cinderblock wall behind the meters. Seaside Daisy (Erigeron glaucus) decorates the base of the meters, offering a friendly smile to anyone who drops their change.

This mix of foliage also smiles from small foliage beds southwest and southeast corners of the parking lot. The back of the home itself is also serves as a bit of a garden, with vine growing in a predesignated section of the foundation.
