The Shotgun House

Home and garden now offer Santa Monica residents examples of architectural conservation and authentic ocean-friendly gardening.

The garden was young when the Preservation Resource Center opened in January of 2016.

The charm of the historic Shotgun House is evident, even before it is ensconced in greenery.

A Community Resource

Un-paving a parking lot took vision and team work! The acquisition, relocation, and renovation of the Shotgun House and the creation of the petite paradise that surrounds it represent a full community effort. Learn more about the Shotgun House on the Santa Monica Conservancy Website
